January 1. I live alone. The Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God.
St Paul says 1 Co 2:1-2 When I came to you, brothers, proclaiming the mystery of God, I did not come with sublimity of words or of wisdom .For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
I always read this verse with a picture in my mind of Jesus ON the cross. But, today I see Jesus BEYOND the cross, having been crucified.
A day to worship God without words or wisdom.
