😃 Have you heard of this? It is a comedy show, a takeoff on the liberal news. It is created by the guy who created and produces “24.” The Fox News Channel has bought 2 episodes and the first will air at 10:00 on Sunday after Hannity’s America show. Here’s a link to a preview, go to www.rushlimbaugh.com and at the top right hand side of the page you will see a link to watch and a link that tells you about the show. I tried to link it directly, but no success.

I saw a clip this morning. It was funny, but I am sure some of our liberal posters will start complaining immediately.
 
Lets see if it can beat the Dailey Show or The Colbert Report! Love those guys. Of course, I am liberal.
 
This was some of the most unfunny, badly scripted and acted attempt at comedy and satire in AGES. What a bust. No wonder republicans hate liberals and hollywood, they’re jealous of their ability at actually being funny when it comes to satire, irony and overall basic humor. Some of my more hardcore far rightie pals seen it and even WINCED! 😃
 
The Cindy Sheehan thing got a smile out of me. Otherwise, not very funny.

I disagree. I laugh just as hard when Daily Show shows the hypocrisy of Democrats as when they do Republican politicans. This is why this Fox show will fail, they dont understand irony and satire and cant see their own folly to make fun of it so all one is gonna get from this lame show are attack pieces of Democrats hidden under unfunny humor, and hardly is ever the mirror turned on themselves.

Chill out. The Daily Show is definitely partisan and much less funny than it used to be. Colbert Report is far better.
As for the Fox show we’ll have to wait and see. I think they mad a mistake featuring Voldemort and the Wicked Witch on their first show. I did like the line about Howard Dean getting the medical attention he needs.
 
Why dont you chill out? Since when is stating one disagrees and giving a level headed response taken as out of control - oh, wait…

Unless I’m missing something, you wrote a review above on Feb 16th about something which didn’t air until Feb 18.

This reminds me of “reviews” of the bible I’ve seen on Amazon where people say “I read the whole thing last night and it is complete bunk…” or some such thing.

Right.

There are ways to say things and then there are ways to say things. Since we cannot see the person offering an OPINION, we should be more careful how we phrase things.
 
I am a conservative republican. I simply didn’t find it funny.
I enjoy good satire. I thought the writing was sophomoric. I don’t enjoy SNL much either.
Mark Russell cracks me up though.

If you like Mark Russell, check out The Capitol Steps, they do the same sort of non-vicious satire.
