Why is it that there are only 4 horsemen of the apocalypse? I feel that there are other main umbrella troubles that can be on the same level as the 4.
 
  1. Because John’s prophecy is referencing the horses of Zechariah, Isaiah, etc.
  2. Because you don’t have to name every single Bad Thing to get a representative list of Bad Things. A partial list can include the whole, by implication.
  3. Because God is a poet.

Well there was a fifth horseman, but he left the group before they became famous 🙂
