One expect Acts 20:29 to be fulfilled among the true church?

why or why not?

I say yes because Satan, would try to corrupt the true church with his false teachers for the purpose of leading the people astray.

But, Satan would not send opposing false teachers among a church that is in fact itself a false church because he would not want to rock the boat of his own false doctrines.

Thus a church that has to deal with false teachers within its walls is more likely to be a true church than a church that never has to deal with opposing false teachers.

Is there a better way to state my argument? Is it a vaild arguement aganist someone who says, my church never has false teachers.

Acts 20:28 Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God which he obtained with the blood of his own Son.
29] I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;

Anyone who says there are no false teachers who will come among them would be speaking falsely. Conversely, scripture does tell us though that we will be led to all truth and that the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth.

So while we know that there may be false teachers in the Church, even be widespread, as in the Arian heresy, we also know that there is an “official” objective truth that will reside with the Church.

We also see in scripture that there will be weeds and wheat in the Church and we need to let them grow together.

The Reformation apparently wished to ignore these scriptures as well as the rest the books of scripture that got tossed from the Protestant Bible.

Yes the Reformation failed to see that the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth and Christ is the Body, the Head of the Church. This strongly supports “Scripture and Tradition” as the source of Catholic teachings.
