i can only consume it with mixers. whiskey = paint thinner.

If I have to have something harder than red wine, give me brandy with pineapple juice.

Give me root beer! 🙃🙃🙃

(my country says that I can go fight and die in the army with my parents permission, but not drink alcohol. Go figure.)

I am a big fan of single malt scotch whisky, I have about 40 bottles in my collection. But I’ve given up drinking for lent so they’ve been lonely for a few weeks, looking forward to getting reacquainted with them after Easter.

I always thought of bourbon as Scotch’s younger, hotter, sweeter sister 😉

Who doesn’t like whiskey? I especially like bourbons.

You know a good drink was the first miracle of Jesus…the wedding of Cana. This is of significant theological importance. However, I don’t completely understand why.

I converted to Catholicism. My original christian faith forbid drinking. This wasn’t why I converted to Catholicism (so I could drink). However, sometimes I think, if I hadn’t converted, what a hypocrite I’d be…I’d still be drinking…not heavily of course. Jesus didn’t drink grape juice.

I wonder if Pope Francis has said anything about the benefits of a good drink now and again?

Nothing says the good ole USA more than my friends at Jack Daniels. Good Tennessee sippin’ whiskey

I’ll drink beer, scotch, bourbon, gin, wine, and rum. I won’t touch Jose Cuervo…

I would agree with that list, with beer, scotch and wine given primary of honour. I have no patience for Cocktails. No bartender’s skill can match the natural processes that produce the nuanced flavours of quality crafted ales, wines, or whiskeys.
