Hosted by Ricardo Montalban, this 60-minute documentary uses the reported apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima in 1917, to three young Portuguese children, as a springboard for an examination of the relationship between religion and science in the 20th century.
Historical footage from World War I and II, and news clips of “the day the sun danced” on the Fatima countryside in October 1917 are interwoven with excerpts from the timeless Warner Brothers’ film The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima (1952), and interviews with eyewitnesses to the miracles which occurred during the Virgin Mary’s apparitions. Participants include Pope John Paul II, James H. Billington, philosopher Paul Kurtz, and writers Malcolm Muggaridge and Alexander Solzhenitsyn.

I would like to remind everyone that the 100th Anniversary, this year, starting May 13th. And 13th every month following,

Pope Francis, our great Shepherd, has granted a Plenary Indulgence. It is based on the usual conditions, plus saying a few prayers ( The Lords Prayer, The Creed, praying for the Pope’s Intentions, Hail Mary ) in front of a public statue of Our Lady of Fatima. Or in Spirit if a person is impeded from travelling to a statue based on illness , etc.

Saturday week is May 13. Gain an Indulgence for yourself or someone in Purgatory! And venerate Our Lady

And this Saturday is Our Lady’s First Saturday. Friday., today is First Friday and Sacred Heart Friday.
