The Bachelor Rome

Okay, come on out you guys–I know I’m not the only one watching the Bachelor Rome.

There are several moral problems with this show – but this one is different.

First of all, this bachelor “Prince” Lorenzo Borghese is a relative of Pope Paul V. (Camillo Borghese) This is how he got the title of “prince”.

So watching, I thought, “OK, another show gonna make Catholics look bad” I am, of course only assuming that Lorenzo is Catholic.

Anyway, there is one girl on there who admitted that she is a virgin, saving herself for marriage. Usually, once this secret is out–SEE YA!!

Well, Lorenzo has kept her – she is in the final two and it has been the sweetest thing to watch. Last week, she was agonizing over the decision to take the “overnight” opportunity. He was so sweet – he said “I LIKE conservative girls with morals” – or something like that.

I know that there are so many reasons why this show is WRONG – but if you’re out there and share this guilty pleasure with me – be brave, admit it!

I am so excited that he has kept the “good girl”

I have watched it too , this season simply because it was set in Italy . I have not watched but a couple of other seasons.

Yes, I also was pleased to see he has kept Sadie and hope they have a future together.

I was so happy he let Lisa go. She was so fake.

I love this show, I will admit. It makes me laugh all the time at how stupid and caddy most of those girls are. They are so ridiculous its funny. I am very glad Sadie is still there because she has been my favorite since the beginning…Agnese was my second favorite and I’m still bummed she was eliminated. I used to like Lisa in the beginning but once I found out how fake she was I didn’t like her anymore…but the worst of them all was Erica…ugh she made me literally sick to my stomach how high maintenance and stuck up she is…I am starting to wonder if shes trying a little too hard to be a b**** just for attention but nevertheless she is super annoying either way and I am glad she is gone. I am happy that Lorenzo likes the fact that Sadie is a virgin…that is rare for a guy these days, unfortunately. I think she is awesome and he would be crazy not to pick her. Just my :twocents:

I am so hoping that there is a real good ending to this – and that Sadie doesn’t compromise her morals. What a good example she would make.

I watched the Bachelor one prior season but was appalled by the “overnight” option. My question is how many “overnights” Lorenzo had with different girls on the show? If this conservative girl has morals you would think she would have nixed this when he was sleeping with the other “contestants”. Just a thought!

I don’t think they actually “sleep” together on the overnights. I think most of them accept it as a private time away from the cameras. Maybe some do (have sex), but I certainly don’t assume that all of them do.
