Is the Baltimore Catechism still relevant for catechesis in this day in age? I find that it is an excellent catechism. Should it still be used?

Yes, it is still an excellent reference. Just keep in mind that some of the disciplinary rules have changed. The theology is all still sound.

The new updated Baltimore is used in some current RCIA"s; not the old one, which was for Grade Scools.

The Baltimore Catechism was in five volumes, number zero through 4. The content was progressively more detailed as you went through the numbers. Volumes 3 and 4 are used in some RCIA programs or for adult religious education. Our parish uses volume “0” for First Communion class.
