I contacted the parish at which I usually attend for Adoration and confession. The secretary there told the priest, and the priest asked all over the diocese, and then came back with the news, no one in the diocese is qualified to provide spiritual direction.
 
That sounds hard to believe. I believe that’s what he told you, but it can’t be right.

You might try the vocations office for your diocese to see if they know of someone. You might also check with any convents, monasteries, or retreat houses in the area. You might also ask at another parish to see what kind of answer you get.
