Oh yeah, “very few” Catholics take it seriously…that’s obviously why the New York Times ran a whole article about how indulgence practice is bringing people back to the Church.

BBC are a bunch of atheist eejits. At least the NYT has to contend with the fact that a big segment of their local reader base are Catholic and that St. Patrick’s and its Cardinal are a force to be reckoned with.


Indulgence practice certainly helped me to increase my Catholic practice, and I could point to whole groups of people I have seen on the Internet raving about Susan Tassone, the author who writes books on praying for the deceased and getting indulgences, or just being so happy they can get an indulgence for their father who died.
