I read the explanation on chapter 13 of the book of Revelation, and I have a diferent understanding that I share with the protestant brothers. First, I tell them to take a look at the geographic figure of England. It looks like a dragon. Second, I tell them to remember which phase of history has the number 13 as a foundation. 13 colonies. Third, I tell them to analize the history of the rapture, like when such a doctrine started, and how many books does this new doctrine uses in its Bible. 66.
Also, in 1948, when the people of Israel declared themselves independent, most of the protestant doctrine saw the beast and the statue of Daniel represented by the U.N. What is hard to see is the fact that the U.N. was founded by 5 main countries. And by rounding the number of states we have, the results comes up to fifty. Only the fingers one foot of the statue mention in the book of Daniel is represented by the U.N. The other five are represented by the Europeans Nations, and its capital Assyria.
Because the beast represents material stuff that take the form of idolatry, but I always tell the brothers of the prostestant church, we have the sacrificie of Christ to free ourselves in spirit.

Hello Ricardo,

Regardless of who or what the “Beast” is refering to, we know the anti-beast, antidote to protect yourself from the mark of the “beast”. It is those who obey God’s commandments and do good works who do NOT have the mark of the “beast” on their forehead or right hand.

**NAB REV 14:9 **

A third angel followed the others and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast or its image, or accepts its mark on his forehead or hand, he too will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger. He will be tormented in burning sulphur before the Lamb, and the smoke of their torment shall rise forever and ever. There shall be no relief day or night for those who worship the beast or its image or accept the mark of its name.” **This is what sustains the holy ones, who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. I heard a voice from heaven say to me: "write this down: Happy now are the dead who die in the Lord!" The Spirit added, "Yes, they shall find rest from their labors, for their good works accompany them."**A man’s strength in battle or at work is in his arm, wrist and hand. To bind God’s law on your wrist is to write it on your strength. When Christ returns it is His and the Father’s will that he will be looking for as the mark on the strength of your arm, on the forehead of your mind, in your heart, and on your soul.

**NAB DEU 11:18 **

“Therefore, take these words of mine into your heart and soul. Bind them at your wrist as a sign, and let them be a pendant on your forehead. Teach them to your children, speaking of them at home and abroad, whether you are busy or at rest. And write them on the doorposts or your houses and on your gates, **so that, as long as the heavens are above the earth, you and your children may live on in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers he would give them.” **"For if you are careful to observe all these commandments I enjoin on you, loving the LORD, your God, and following his ways exactly, and holding fast to him,…"

you really need to read The Lambs Supper by Scott Hahn. He really explains the book of revelations in a whole new light that really makes sense.
