The Beatific Vision

I had a quick question about the saints and especially St. Faustina. When she would see Jesus did this mean she had the beatific vision before she had died? And, also is the beatific vision a phenomenon that any saint has experienced before death?

When visionaries go into ecstasy and see visions, they are experiencing some kind of sight or experience of God on earth. Whether it is the full beatific vision, or just a preview adapted so that it does not overwhelm a visionary who’s still here on earth in an earthly body, we do not know, but I suspect the full experience of heaven greatly exceeds the experience on earth.

St Teresa of Avila wrote that the ecstatic experience is not the same as the Beatific Vision. It seems that it is close, but not the same.
