The Bible is Nothing more than Fairy Tales?

Your comment about the Bible being complicated and difficult to understand raises another question in my mind. If the Bible was written by divinely inspired authors and was meant to be understood by the common person throughout the ages, then why make it so difficult? Shouldn’t it be fairly easy to understand without one having to search far and wide for hidden meanings and proper context?

That is not according to the way Jews think. or at least how ancient Hebrews thought.

The dig is as hard as the bottom line. I think there is even a place in the Bible where Jesus himself said that he talked in parables so that people wouldn’t understand.

(For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 1Cr 1:18-2)

(But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Jhn 14:26)

(We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. 1Jo 4:6)

The world can’t believe because they have rejected the truth. This is why the world can so easily accept santa clause, easter bunny, aliens, greek mythology gods even though they know all these things to be fiction. Society could cram all these ideologies and theologies with out any consequences or quorums. Yet they say that Jesus Christ Is not real but it is the one so called lie that they absolutely despise… they hate the topic, they hate the name of Jesus and they absolutely hate the Bible. It is the only so called fiction subject that the world is at war against. The world has believed the lie because they have rejected the very name that teaches the truth. Jesus said, “I am the way, the life and the truth”. This is why Jesus Christ said that no one can go to the Father except through Him. If it is a lie then why the hate, why the fear… it is because the spirit is already testifying to them that they are wicked and sinful; there souls are afraid of the coming punishment; they have no peace just worries, fears, anxieties, depression and hate… of course mankind can’t comprehend that their own spirit and soul is warning them of the wrath that they live in and the coming judgment. Only Christ can open their eyes to see, open their ears to hear, and enable the heart to understand. The very God that they hate can bring them peace and eternal life.
