the Blessing and the Anointing

Hello! I have a couple of questions for our Pentecostal Bretheran. I have been watching several of the television minister on both the Daystar Network and TBN. The speak of ‘the’ Anointing or something is ‘anointed’. Also they ( most often Kenneth Copeland ) speak of “The Blessing”. And this Blessing has come to not the church so much as the individual. It is tied into God’s promise to Abraham.
Can anyone explain to me what they are talking about! I thought I understood what those terms meant but now I am not so sure.
