Jodie Foster, intense as always. Too much violence for me these days, but I give it a B+.
 
I argee. I loved her acting, as well as Terrance Howard. I’ve never seen any of his movies, and I was very impressed by his acting.
The violence didn’t bother me too much, I’ve seen much worse. The sex scenes bothered me more than anything, I felt they were just thrown in there without reason.
But I agree, B+ would be my rating.
 
B+ is probably too kind. The movie was too uneven, as if it couldn’t make up its mind whether to explore issues of separation and loss or issues of revenge versus justice. It was basically just a slightly more literate version of Bronson in Deathwish, but with a woman in the lead.

OTOH, You Kill Me with Ben Kingsley was a great movie. Not appropriate for children, but rent it today.
