See I don’t agree with that underdog. Alot of my protestant friends believe that it is a symbol of Jesus body and blood. They do not believe that it is the real deal as we say.

Protestants don’t believe in the priesthood. They don’t believe that a priest acts in persona Christi (person of Christ). So, when the priest holds the bread and says “This is my body”, the Protestants think this is blasphamy.

You too huh. And here is the best part, when you ask them what did Jesus mean when he said Matt 9:6 Jesus tells us he was given authority on earth to forgive sins, and then says in 8 that this authority was given to men.

They either scatter, or change the subject real fast. Go figure. And all we are trying to do is defend our faith. Its like they can we can’t. How about Catholic’s never read the bible. Thats a oldie but goodie. But get into a debate with them, and they can’t answer you. Scram they are gone. Or, say please don’t bother me. But if they think they got us. Look out. We don’t even get a second to defend ourself.

I tell them there is nothing in the bible that is not the Catholic Faith. How could there be the bible is the Catholic Faith. The first book was the Catholic Bible. Now that turns them into a spin.

I’m still here, and I will answer your question. :mad: The title “Son of Man” represents prophetic word in the Old Testament, it carries the similar meeting as “Ancient of Days” from the book of Eziekel. I am not super well read, but I am a Catholic and I do read the Bible. We sinners do not carry the same title as Jesus. Yes we can say we are sons of men or more appropriately of women, but we are not the “Son of Man” but Jesus did say we could get to where he is if we repented and followed him, so the we would be not just son’s of man and woman but also of the eternal God. :rolleyes:
