Very interesting video if you can get past the loud brash American-ness of it.
 
Using harvest time to remember the dead is very common. To take a moment to explore ones feelings about those who didn’t make it to harvest has roots in the middle-east, Europe, Asia. Grant you most Oriental countries use the winter but as far as season and mood the time of year is similar.
 
Halloween will be replaced by a night called ‘Holyween’.

Isn’t that like saying “Halloween will be replaced by a night we will call … wait for it … ‘Halloween’”
