The Catholicity of the Society and Synod of St. Timothy?

I joke with Fr. Rob all the time about that. He and I are Star Trek fans and I said maybe he came back from the future to be part of truecatholic.org and that is what he’ll look like when he’s old. The Fr. Rob Lyons of the SST is about 27. BIG difference than the person from truecatholic.org. I can state with full certainty that the SST has no connection to truecatholic.org in any way shape or form. If it did, I would run very far away.

I have a feeling though that iwonder was just being a stinker and actually joking around.

Because the picture is different. This is what you tell me. Oh, sorry, I don’t buy now any more than I bought your original anti catholic tirade. In any case, it’s a free country still, and anyone who wants to can always start their own catholic church. And I can also say, I have the right to believe that anyone who goes the door and sets up a Church that appears on the surface to be Orthodox or Catholic, in opposition to that which already is, is simply a jester.
And no, I am not joking.I think you exist primarily to confuse. But suit yourselves.

Come on, we get nowhere, and I mean nowhere, if we do not deal in honesty. This is why I posted what I did.

Wouldn’t it be nice to actually do some research and debated what people actually believe instead of jumping to conclusion that are not even based in fact?

People will not take you seriously unless you deal with the truth in honesty. Truth and honesty are why I am Catholic today.

I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but WHY if the SST and truecatholic.org were the same group would they have COMPLETELY different websites, with completely different domain names, stating completely different beliefs with a completey different set of clergy with the ONLY similarity happens to be 2 men who both have the name Robert Lyons?

I mean come on, you can’t tell the difference between a 27 year old man and however old the Rob Lyons is on truecatholic?

I cannot quite figure you out. You have said some things that are very good, and then on a dime, you seem to almost be a completely different person. Bipolar comes to mind.

I have reported you to the admins for your abusiveness. I will no longer respond to you any more. You deal in falsehoods and slander, and I will not be a part of it.

I will pray for you that whatever issues you are suffering from will be resolved and that the Holy Spirit will fill you with the gift of charity and the Peace of our Lord, Jesus.

Get with it. I read all of his postings on what he believes on the Eastern Orthodox Thread. Then I read all of the links he gave us to his church’s websites. It was enough. I am dealing in truth and honesty here. Anti catholic, same old tired Protestant rhetoric, and the sin of pride big enough to cause these guys to found another new Church opposition to all of the others. And yet, when asked what it is his church has to offer that is so different from the others it needs to be founded anew- I got no answer. He can’t answer it because it is simply the same old thing.
As to whether you take me seriously or not is- no offense intended- irrelevant. I, for one do not inted to be taken for a ride by every Tom Dick and Harry who decides his theology is superior to the Church. If I allowed these little things to seep into my faith life, I would probably end up wondering if Joseph Smith really did read gold plates, revealed by an angel name moroni, and was ruling his own planet now.
