The Cavalry is coming-FSSP ordinations

Hold on out there, the cavalry is coming to the resuce, we will be having some Holy supermen coming to the rescue soon. Some lucky parish will be seeing some new faces. What an honour it will be to kiss the palms of these well formed “other Christs” when they impart their first blessings

FSSP Ordinations On May 12,
diaconal ordinations will be conferred in Wigratzbad, Germany for Subdeacons Hubert Coeurderoy, Charles Gauthey, André Hahn, Bertrand Lacroix, Juan Tomas, and Grégoire Villeminoz

On May 19, at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln, Nebraska, the following will be ordained to the Priesthood: Reverend Deacons Gregory Eichman, Karl Marsolle, Brian McDonnell, Kevin O’Neill, and Kenneth Walker.

Don’t forget, all you EF’ers - the Ember Day fasts for each season are traditionally offered for the success of the priests ordained during that season. Fast and pray for priests - they need all the help they can get!

I’m on the Confraternity of St Peter list and I got an email stating that one of the five deacons who will be ordained asked if we could pray this prayer for the deacons up to the day of their ordination. I think it’s a lovely prayer we can all pray.

O Jesus, Eternal Priest, keep all Your priests within the shelter of
Your Sacred Heart where none may harm them.

Keep unstained their anointed hands which daily touch Your Sacred
Body. Keep unsullied their lips purpled with Your Precious Blood.

Keep pure and unearthly their hearts sealed with the sublime marks of
Your glorious priesthood.

Let Your holy love surround them and shield them from the world’s
contagion. Bless their labors and abundant fruit, and may the souls to
whom they ministered here below be their joy and consolation, and in
Heaven their beautiful and everlasting crown. Amen.
