Ok, this post is gonna sound like I am probably over-reacting but, my dad has been making chaplets of St.Therese of Lisuex, orginally the chaplet only has 24 beads which the ‘‘Glory be’s’’ are prayed on yet my dad or he said a priest who is a friend of his ( who passed away a while ago ) added another bead to it making it 25 beads, he said the reason he added the 25th bead was because of the nine months she spent in the womb and thus we pray this bead against abortion, which is good. but…was it right of him to change this chaplet or was it wrong? I mean to me it just causes confusion among people when there is 24 beads on the chaplet orginally I feel that we can pray the chaplet against abortion anyway and keep the 24 beads, and that the 25th bead is not neccesary.
Am I over-reacting? because I was gonna send one of the chaplets to a friend in the states yet I saw this 25th bead and it is bothering me, because a majority of the world pray only 24 beads.
