I just want to know if it is ok in Catholic Church for one to get natural remedies, herbs, and go to a Naturopathic physician ?

Sure, as long as it doesn’t involve illicit drugs or immoral measures for treatment.

A thorough knowledge of herbs is required. They just can’t be taken without it. At one time, pharmacies did make herbs available but that is very rare in the US now. Best to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Mostly suffered more.

Using natural products in itself is neither good nor bad. Some do have a useful purpose and some are questionable.

As long as it is not someone involved with New Age.

Things like “hold this bottle of parsley, if I can not push down your arm, it means parsley makes you strong! are a good warning sign.”

Died at an earlier age? There is no moral issue here as long as one doesn’t unwisely shun beneficial scientific medicine one can use anything they want, chicken soup, or the blood of a rabbit…

Also watch for people wanting to read/sense/test your energies. Head for the exit if they suggest moving your “energy centers”.

There should be no problem at all.

I use valerian and chamomile to help me sleep, I also take some ginger to counteract nausea. They are very effective remedies.

I’m often a fan for things that aren’t really bad enough to bother with seeing a doctor. May or may not work, might just be a placebo effect, but I wasn’t actually going to drag myself in for a plain old cold anyway.
