the above link explains the claims of jesus. for me, it is a good explanation. but when it came to the verse when he said that the jews that time understood the jesus was claiming to be God. he said that their reaction was correct.

so my friend asked me. “If the jews think that jesus was claiming to be God. was it a correct conclusion? was their conclusion correct?”

I’d say their conclusion was correct (that Jesus was claiming to be God). Their reaction was wrong. They expected the Messiah to be king, but not God, so they thought Jesus’ claim to be God was blasphemous.
