My friend and I are in an argument. He says that you can be excommunicated for reading the Da Vinci Code. I say that you can not be excommunicated for anything you read, can anyone help us out?
 
No, you won’t be excommunicated. I’ve read the book and seen the movie; it was all junk and an insult to all Christians.
 
One cannot be excommunicated for reading a dull, amature novel… I read it, please take my word for it - it is NOT worth your time.
