Dear all,
I would like to hear what people think about the relationship between truth and beauty in art. The phenomenon of “modern” art brings to my mind the confusion of a human soul without God.
Today we find art that is representational on a very base level (appealing to our base instincts rather than our intellect and well ordered emotions), we find shock becoming a virtue in art, and we see religious art becoming less distinct and less sacred.
Any thoughts?
God bless,
Agricola
