The Divine Mercy prayer for "little thing"

I wanted to share my thought and hopefully some can share yours too.

When I read a part of the St Faustina’s Diary, I learned that the Saint used the Divine Mercy chaplet to pray for anything. She even used it to pray for the storm to stop. God granted her prayer.

I do the same thing, and Jesus did show His Mercy through small and big things that I had asked of Him - from performing my job at work to asking for getting over my allergy.

For example: about 2:45pm today, I had a very bad allergy, I kept on sneezing and to the point that I wanted to call it for the day and go home. I wanted to ask God to help me so that I could continue to work til the end of the day.

Learning from other Saints that we can offer up our own suffering for the conversion of sinners, I decided not to ask for healing yet but to be able to have courage to go through the allergy during the Divine Mercy prayer at 3:00pm.

3:09pm, my allergy was completely gone right after I had finished the Divine Mercy chaplet.

Some might think this is coincident, but I believe it is His Will because I have few other prayers granted for praying the Divine Mercy. I know myself that when I have a bad allergy, it could go on for the whole day especially when I don’t have any medicine to take.

i pray the Divine Mercy Rosary for the souls in Purgatory as well as myself and others who need it, and well as for the conversion of sinners world wide, and for the forgiveness of sins world wiide.
 
The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a prayer intimately lived in and united to the Cross and Passion of Christ Jesus and therefore is a Gospel Prayer.

Everyone should pray this prayer at least once in their lives.

It is a prayer to be lived and prayed for any reason any time.

I have simply prayed ‘For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world’ and not completed the whole prayer and this has sufficed for Godf’s Will to be done. It will always suffice if the faith in the Salvific work of God is there.

I truly hope everyone will pray this just once in their life and it will gain them greater than they would ever imagine.

So few honour the Cross and Passion of Christ, if the Cross was preached then so would the wages of sin be known, evil would be known and so would all men know God and His love and mercy. I don’t hear enough about the Cross and I do not hear ever about the joy of the Cross as there is great joy in the Cross and it is not a morbid subject to meditate upon but it is truly Beauty and Victory.

The world needs the Cross and the world needs to learn and know of its great beauty and victory in through and by Christ Jesus. In the darkness there is nothing and in this nothing Christ Jesus suspended upon the Cross died for we that are nothing in order that we may be ‘something’ in Him and that something is to be like Him, to be of His Divine Nature.

In the darkness of the world a great and wonderous light broke forth from the Breast of Christ Jesus at the point of death and broke the darkness forever.

How very beautiful! Thank you for sharing your testimony. To me the most beautiful part is that you offered up your own will to the decision of His Merciful Heart. I am reminded of what (I believe it might have been St. Therese…I’m not sure though) It went something like this, “Just keep offering Him these little drops of love and you will see how good He is.” Please forgive me if I misquoted it.
