The Easter gift . Not just an egg or a basket

Sometimes the Greatest Gift is helping the poor , praying for your enemies , counting your blessings and growing His kingdom. I love people that anonymously give , some volunteer and some find quite places to go . Which is more important or holy ? I know some that are shut in , that donate clothing , use their Social media accounts and invite people to church. Just because we can’t go , doesn’t mean someone else won’t. Easter baskets and egg hunts are great , sometimes they are at a church but is someone struggling ? Is someone hungry ? Those gifts are sacrifices sometimes . That’s the point. I can’t tell in some if they are “churched” like some that can’t show up.

Yes, all those things like helping the poor, praying for your enemies, anonymous giving etc are important.

I’m not sure of your question or topic here however. The vast majority of people posting and reading on this forum are making daily efforts to do some or all of those things. They may not talk about it all the time, especially if they’re trying to do good works anonymously - they won’t be posting here saying I just gave X dollars to this charity.

I am also not aware of any churches that have egg hunts or other Easter celebrations that aren’t simultaneously promoting helping the poor or in some cases the Easter celebration is FOR the poor, like one church here is collecting food for Easter dinners for poor families.

What exactly are you trying to say with this post?
