The "Elect Jesus" signs, which a church put out to bring Jesus into the conversation before U.S. midterm elections

The signs are meant to approach people on their own terms and to bring God into the conversation during a time in which people are highly polarized and divided by politics.

The signs use the word “elect” in an old way, which simply means “choose.”
