The Epistle to the Ephesians?

I’m ignorant about scripture. Some years ago, I came across a saying: “We may live in a wicked age, but our lives must redeem it.” Ephesians 5:16

It stayed with me so I tried to look it up and obviously it’s not in the Catholic or King James Bible. I came across a description of it here:

What is everyone’s thought on this? It’s all new to me and had I not seen the above quote, I doubt I would done a search. Thank you.

Jerusalem Bible translation is quite close:

This may be a wicked age, but your lives should redeem it (Eph 5:16)
