Not to defend Masonry, but my general understanding is that European Masonry has always had a far more conspiratorial, anti-Church character than its American cousin, certainly since the 20th Century. I’ve seen people so rabidly anti-Masonic that they’ve stated it’s wrong for crippled children to receive care (free!) in Shriners’ hospitals. Myself, I’m a lot more worried about militant Islam.

The internet is rife with such warnings. On youtube John Salza, a former high ranking Freemason gives several speeches on the topic

John Salza explains the attack on the church by masons and its unique tie it has with the third secret of fatima and the apostasy within the church by a revolutionary spirit. Our Lady of Fatima pray for us. Ave Maria!!

There are different kinds of evil. Some are blatant and some seem harmless, but are evil also.

As scripture says, we need to be: “…wise as a serpent, and gentle as a dove.”

Masonry allows one to understand the freedom without God. This however, allows you to ponder the reasonable reason for joining it, which is an impossibility to understand.
