Do you mean in reference to the conversion of Russia? The Fátima prophecy.
You might be interested to know that Aldrin mater expressed some doubts about it:
I don’t see any problem with what he did, even from a nonbelieving standpoint. He is Christian, and he shut off the transmission, as this was a private prayer. The secular world surely wouldn’t have any problem with it, if it had been a Jewish, Muslim, or Buddhist ceremony — to object to that would be “politically incorrect”. Professing Christians, of whatever stripe, are disliked by the secular world, unless they water down their doctrine to conform to that world. Our Lord assured us that it would be this way.You might be interested to know that Aldrin mater expressed some doubts about it:
In his 2010 memoir, he wrote that he’d come to wonder if he’d done the right thing by celebrating a Christian ritual in space. “We had come to space in the name of all mankind—be they Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, agnostics, or atheists,” hewrote
Inclusive and honourable words from a brave and honourable man.
Had he been Catholic, he could have been given a dispensation. People living solitarily were permitted to self-communicate even in the early medieval Church. One would certainly have wished to self-communicate Viaticum, if it had come to that (e.g., if they had not been able to leave the moon and were to die there).I thought so. They didn’t self-communicate back in 1969.
I’ve got no problem with Buzz taking communion on the moon (you might note that Armstrong didn’t participate). Each to his own. A private ceremony at an important time for a man of faith. Who I’m sure felt that God was looking over himWozza:

Russia doesn’t worry so much about “political correctness”. Good for them!
He did what he should have done by shutting off the transmission. Something about when you pray, go to your room, close the door, and do it in private.I’ve got no problem with Buzz taking communion on the moon (you might note that Armstrong didn’t participate). But the OP link complained that it wasn’t broadcast. Well, in Aldrin’s own words, what they did wasn’t for Christianty. Or for Hinduism. Or for Muslims or atheists. It was for the whole world. The landing drew us all together as one like no other moment in history. Before or since. If it had been broadcast then that would have left out half the planet.
He understood that. I hope others do as well.
Couldn’t get more private I guess.Wozza:
