Matthew 20:16 “So the last shall be first, and the first last.”

Mark 10:31 “But many who are first will be last, and the last, first.”

Luke 13:30 “And behold, some are last who will be first and some are first who will be last.”

Do these passages meant the Jews? They were ‘First’ called, right? But they didn’t listen and now I’m thinking that they’ll become Christians in the end of time. We are the ‘Last’ to know about Christ but we were the ‘First’ to become Christians unlike the Jews.

What do you think?

I think it means those who are first and of highest social standing in this life will be last in heaven and the poor and socially outcast who make heaven will be first. Some get their rewards in this life while others are downtrodden and will be rewarded in heaven. Jesus favors those who are downtrodden and those who do put themselves before others. The parable about taking the last place at table so that the host may honor you by saying “Move to a higher place” is applicable. There was once a saying about the high born setting above the salt and the low born being assigned places below the salt. Apparently the location of the salt supply was used as a measure of one’s importance.

This Jewish convert has very good talks on the subject of the Jews role in salvation.

they are very interresting and well worth the listening time.

You can listen to many of his talks here salvationisfromthejews.com/audio.html

The section that i think would interrest you the most is the section Talks/Teachings, Versions of my witness testimony, and talks on the Jews’ role in salvation:
