Have you ever taken a temperament test ? I found t quite interesting and helpful when I took the one on catholic match .
I’m basically Phlegmatic /melancholic .

We did the Gifted in Christ Program at the parish and my Top 5 are:
Woo
Communication
Maximizer
Individualization
Positivity

The advice CM gave was really constructive,it suggested the negatives and positives with in a relationship, (be it dating ,engagement or married )between the couples temperament variables .
It helped me realise my own possible strengths and weaknesses and gave advice on how to improve.I wish I had discovered it way back in my 20’s to help me in life

Carl Jung’s and Isabel Briggs Myers’ Typological Approach
ENTJ
Extravert(6%) iNtuitive(6%) Thinking(16%) Judging(62%)
You have slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion (6%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (6%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (16%)
You have distinct preference of Judging over Perceiving (62%)

Yup that’s me.

Another test says I’m very much like King George III of England :uk:

In the Myers-Briggs test I’m an ISFJ. If you read about an ISJF, that is me to a tee almost.

I wonder how all the tests compare?
Probably with old age on the horizon temperament might also change as people might mellow out…
or become more crotchety

I think the Ent posted a fine meme of Napoleon on another thread that might match .

The only test you need to determine if you are crotchety is if you catch yourself hollering “get off my lawn” , the you are. 😀
