Thank you for directing me to that beautiful story. There was one point which troubled me and that was the statement that Depo Provera can cause cancer in women. What worries me is that my young niece is on Depo Provera to treat her endometriosis. She has already lost both parents to cancer before she turned 21 years of age. I have tried earlier to persuade her not to use this injection to no avail I fear.

Is it true? I don’t want to make unsubstantiated claims to alarm her.

I personally have no idea if it is true, but I have heard the claim before. If you snoop around on the internet a bit I’m sure you could find more info. Try everything from medical sites to support groups for cancer patients and women who have had an abortion. There is also the Pope Paul VI Institute that helps women with reproductive problems. Good luck. I hope you can find an alternative treatment for your niece if it turns out that the claim is right. Maybe search the forums here too… I am pretty sure I have seen references to women with endemetriosis asking for help…

Hey, There is a possible link between all forms of Birth Control that work hormonally especially since the hormones used are synthetically produced. The Planned Parenthood and others have work tirelessly to discredit all students relating Birth Control to any form of health condition, particularly cancer. You can look around, but I woul venture to check in Europe first. Hope this helps. Thanks and God Bless.

It’s stories like these make me so angry when Planned Parenthood posts asinine lies about abortion.

"Q: Is having an abortion emotionally and psychologically dangerous?

No. Most women feel relief after an abortion. Serious emotional problems after abortion are much less likely than they are after giving birth. But anti choice extremists make false claims about this." (Click on the link to read more.)

I’ve been prolife for as long as I can remember, except when I fell into sexual sin with my ex-boyfriend and contracepted with him (thank God I didn’t use an abortifacient!!). God graciously waited for my first pregnancy to happen so that it was with my dear husband. That story made me cry. DH and I pray every day for an end to contraception, abortion and euthanasia.
I don’t know about Depo-Provera causing breast cancer, but I know that abortion is a cause of breast cancer: abortionbreastcancer.com/
