The God of Islam. False?

For me if Muslims worship a different God, as do Jews, then it makes no sense to me as to why Aquinas used ideas from Avicenna and Averros (both Islamic theologians and philosophers) and Maimonides (a Jewish religious philosopher) and the Greeks like Plato and Aristotle in works like Summa Contra Gentiles, if he didn’t believe all were seeking the face of the same One God.

God and his properties or attributes are basically conceived in much the same way across Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. Ask a Christian, Jewish and Muslim theist to agree with these statements on God’s attributes and I’m sure you wouldn’t find much disagreement:

God is:

Omnipotent (Infinitely powerful)
Just
Omniescent (All Knowing)
Infinite
Merciful
Loving
Personal
Majestic
Wise
Good
Morally perfect
Source of all Law and Morality
Invisible
Incomprehensible
Ineffable
Eternal
One
Immaterial
Transcendent
Immanent
Being or the Fount of all Being
Creator
Holy
Sustainer of the universe
Necessarily existing

The Jewish, Christian and Muslim doctors and philosophical theologians I’ve read (Maimonides, Aquinas, Anselm, Augustine, Al-Ghazzali, Avicenna, etc) all seem to agree that:
  1. God exists
  2. God has these properties and attributes
  3. God is One and Perfect
  4. God is the creator, sustainer and maker of all that exists, and also the end goal of all beings
The differences come on things like theological notions like the Trinity (Muslims and Jews don’t believe God is three persons in one Being), authority and scripture (Jews don’t accept the NT; Muslims believe the Qu’ran is a superior revelation to the Bible), the nature and path to salvation (there is no doctrine of original sin in Judaism and Islam) but all three faiths seem to agree there is one God, he is the creator and maker of all, he has the same attributes in all three faiths (save the tripersonality in Christian belief and theology) and he is One. Therefore in my view it is wrong to say Jews, Christians and Muslims all worship a different God, rather it is right to say they disagree on certain religious matters, but they believe and worship one God, who from a philosophy of theology standpoint at least, is the same across all three religions.

Now tell me, why should I tell him his God is totally false? .
You are called to be a witness of Christ. Exhort the truth, and rebuke the deception of Islam. Apart from Christ, they can never be reconciled to God. If you have received faith, your calling is to proclaim this. They already know the law of God, yet in vain follow sharia law that can never reconcile them to God. Use the books of Moses & Psalms(they honor Psalms) to be a faithful witness.

It might help to understand the Nestorian(Christian) Heresy, as it laid the foundation for the fall of many in the Church of the East.

1 John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

Nestorian Heresy
