Is the great monarch an approved prophecy?
Does anyone have any information or references to it?
 
Wikipedia has a nice little article on the subject:

Personally I don’t find the idea of the great monarch to fit very comfortably with the better accepted aspects of Catholic eschatology.

I’m hoping that since this is a matter of folklore and a certain interpretation of 2 Thessalonians as much as anything else it doesn’t fall afoul of CAF rules.
