In the Catholic Church, as far as I have been indicated by my version of ‘The Divine Office’ (I am using the Collins English Divine Office), the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which is to be celebrated on the Saturday after the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost (i.e. this Satuday, 28th June), is celebrated as a Memoria.

Does anyone know if there are Proper readings for this memoria or is one simply to use the Common of the Blessed Virgin Mary, because, to me, that doesn’t seem to making anything special out of this special celebration. So, are there any prayers that are specific to the Immaculate Heart of Mary that are incorporated into the Divine Office (or shall I just use the common of the BVM)?

Thank you in advance 😛

Found it! Took me some time, but I did. It is situated, in my breviary at least, between the months of May and June.

The Divine Office, Collins, 1974, Volume III, page 30*.

Found by going to the beginning of the Index of Celebrations, in Divine Office, Volume III, page 838*. Under “The Blessed Virgin Mary” it lists “Immaculate Heart of Mary, 30*”.

Thank you as well!
I find this a strange place to put it but I can see the reasoning
