I would like to express my thanks for the creators of this forum. When I was a teen, I struggled for answers to religion and, also prayer. This forum has helped me pray and kept me on the straight path.

Now, I still struggle with sin, but today I saw a video by Father Mike Schmitz, saying that we should make prayer a priority for at least 20minutes a day. How would you image yourself to be in 20 years if you prayed twenty minutes each day?

We need to ask ourselves, where do we pray, what time of day and how we pray.

Also, read scripture and let it soak in.

—> a good basic prayer can be summed up in ACTS:
Adoration (giving God glory) , Confession (acknowledging our sins before God), Thanksgiving (counting our blessings) and Supplication (making our requests before God).

I hope you have a good prayer life. Please pray for your priest and the pope. I am need of prayers today, so if you want to, you can pray for me, too.

God bless

I began a daily prayer life ten years ago. It’s amazing how it has evolved over those years. For me it began with being a weekly committed adorer in the Adoration Chapel. Several months later I felt the urge to develop a daily prayer routine. I’m older so I have the time to spend most days an hour and some fifteen minutes. That includes a rosary, reading the Magnificat booklet, then a variety of prayers.
However God appreciates whatever amount of time we give to him no matter how great or small.🙏
