Did anyone else think the animated movie “The Incredibles” was just GREAT? Witty -Yes! Good story line-Yes! Fun-Yes!

There was something more, however. AN INTACT FAMILY! When was the last time you saw that on a movie? And the best thing of all is that they all had their special talents which they used to WORK TOGETHER to solve evil. There wasn’t a wimpy Dad, an overly feminist Mom, or sassy kids that were far smarter than their parents. The kids did not solve the problem - the FAMILY DID. And the parents were in charge. Hurray for The Incredibles.

Take the family to see this movie. Yes, as with all super hero movies, there is violence; some of it is intense. So keep that in mind for the younger folks.

I went to see this with my kids. It was excellent. Pixar seems to always put the family first. Definately worth seeing.

I’ve really enjoyed all of Pixar’s movies so far (especially “Monsters Inc.”). Looking forward to this one as well. I think we’re seeing it on Friday, with our friend who has seen it once and enjoyed it enough to pay for another full-price ticket.

It also makes some good points against the “warm fuzzies” self-esteem culture and its institutionalized mediocrity.

A truly great movie! So centered on the family! I like Dash’s character the most.

When Elastigirl, the mother, said “We’re superheroes, what could happen?”, I couldn’t help but think that it’s their family bond that ultimately sees them through.

Peace, so be it.
