I am going to go deep. I am going to go into the crevices, and bear my all here. I have posted into the past, but, being distanced from the sacraments due to traveling impossibilities, fell into error. Not so any more. But I digress! Let’s get to the point… eventually.
I have a passion for something that I won’t specify, but it drives me forward, and keeps me praying and attending the sacraments. Perhaps you can call it a passion gifted to me from God (because I begged Him every night for four months to give me the grace necessary to save my soul, lol). Anyway, what value does this have to you? Let us go deeper.
I prayed the Rosary every night for roughly six months, and it was the epitome of “faith and works.” A lot of faith and a lot of interior sacrifice to remain in the state of focused prayer. What does this lead me to? We shall see, but as I have specified in another topic to someone in need, we are called to convert each mansion of our soul to Christ (St. Teresa of Avila, though I am taking it a step further, instead of just spiritually investigating the vestiges of my soul). And we do this by relying on Our Lady. Her intercession is morally necessary for our salvation (not necessarily objectively necessary).
It threw me into disarray. After four months, I had entered into my final mansion which was very light in nature and completely blissful. I was in a state of reverence and loftiness, but there was the devil trailing after me as I walked forward, daring me to look back, but I did not cease to pray for Our Lady was mediating graces for me to remain focused. Suddenly, I saw a great light, and this light asked me if it were necessary, would I imitate Padre Pio (I had admired him greatly recently) in acquiring the stigmata? I, in meditation said “If it be God’s will.” Please mark that I didn’t presume to think the stigmata was necessary because I knew my own human weakness, and was ever aware of the demonic presence at my back. So I KNEW God knew me better than myself, so I put it into His hands. And what did He grace me with? A sort of special grace I have seen others merit: to always be one step ahead of the principalities of the air: the demons. And since our enemy and source of evil is Satan and his wretched demons, this granted me an affluence against sin. Now, do I commit sin still? Yes, but… and here is the last mansion…
God granted to me the grace of salvation. Do I presume to think I am saved? No. So please don’t report this thread with thoughts of heresy or otherwise. I am weak, and I could be damned. But let us face the figures here and look at this logically, as we Catholics are called to do: it has been said that if we remain devoted to Our Lady, we would indeed not go to hell. There are countless stories of people who, right before death, was granted the grace of perfect contrition and went to heaven. Remember the passion I talked about? Now logically speaking, my life has never been the same since that encounter with the figure of light. I’ve gone through hell – take my word for it. But Our Lady continuously calls me back. I now say the Rosary every day, as least in my heart when walking somewhere, or whatever – whatever is possible for me.
You see, since I have converted all of my mansions to God in that long and arduous process, there are no more barriers to doing whatever is possible for me to do in the worshiping of God. He is working on me and perfecting me continuously, and if I died today in the state of grace, I would still go to Purgatory. I am not perfect, mind you.
I cannot say more on the matter, but I will leave you with one last thing: when Our Lady comes to Earth to bother telling the little children at Fatima to recite fifty little beads in order to save our souls, I think we should take that seriously and literally. May God be with you, and forgive my arrogance…
