So from the trailer the movie promised to be quite hilarious, and in fact it was, mostly…and it had good values at its core…if only it weren’t for its astounding advocacy of immoral behavior, especially for young adults…!

What is worse, the move was portrayed as PG 13, which meant I saw parents with their kids in the movie theatre, some of which had the decency to walk out at some point…PG 13 when strong alcohol consumption was advocated, and a bunch of young adults (hopefully all above 21) were lead into a strip club in which dances were seen clearly for a while…and if it weren’t enough, some of the young adults were seen with dancers on their laps…and finally the main love story led straight into a (not seen) premarital sex scene…to this, add a pointless references to how awesome are same-sex parents to complete the picture…

That is why the CNS Movie Review (which I only checked afterwards) classifies the movie as L - “limited adult audience, films whose problematic content many adults would find troubling”.

Apparently between this immoral movie and the other big PG 13 hit (“Fast & Furious 6”) (which according to CNS includes among other things (lots of) “partial nudity” and even “a scene of torture” [seriously?]), seems that as long as an explicit porn is not present, 13 years is more than enough in this time and culture to witness all sort of lustful, criminal, or violent behavior (and then we complain about the stuff going on out there). God have mercy.

Oh, and the previews of the new TV series…murder, sex, more murder. Truly entertaining shows coming up next! One of them (the touching story of a killer that hates his father…) was announced as to be broadcasted “right after Dexter” (you know, the 8-season series where the “hero” is the serial killer…).

I mean, wow…I came out of the movie theatre with very sorrowful considerations about the state of our age…I am very sorry for the younger generations being exposed to this filth (especially young girls whom are meant to be the guardians of modesty and purity) and I do not know what parents should be doing at this point, other than limiting tv vision as much as possible…

Turned down the movies tonight, no more of that for me.
