I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Why are the “keys” plural. Does this imply more than one grade of salvation? For example, do the Saints receive a higher order form of salvation than ordinary people?
Note that the Papal emblem, like on the flag of Vatican, has two keys, one gold and the other silver.
