The life of King David

Do any of you know of a good book on the life of King David. I’ve been to the local catholic book store and they are not aware of any. I’d also like to have one on Abraham too.

I’ve listened to some audio commentaries from Douglas Bushman and Scott Hahn but I’d like to have something to read and to add to my personal library.

Any suggestions…
 
I don’t know of any books specifically about either David or Abraham. However, you might want to consider ***A Historical Atlas of the Jewish People : From the Time of the Patriarchs to the Present ***by Eli Barnavi (available through Amazon).
