I recently had a close friend of mine pass away. He was a very pious man, a very spiritual man. His name was Leo Yballe, a professor at a local Catholic college. he died while visiting his mother in the Philippines.

I ask that you pray for the repose of his soul of course, but also for his family, who lost both him and his brother in the same instant. Pray that his mother may be relieved of her guilt.

I appreciate your prayers and your merely reading of this post.

God bless the reposed souls and comfort the mother. Amen!

Bless his soul. And comfort the mother’s. However the Lord does not rip people from thier loved ones because He loves them the most. God wishes that none of us die. I lost my father and people would tell me when I was 19 that God just needed him more. this is such a horrible and theologically weak view. I was so mad at God for taking my daddy. It was only later I learned how God truely works.

I pray for their souls and the comfort of their family. As Potato pointed out, the Lord does not take those whom He loves the most; it just hurts more when a loved one has been called home.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
