I have heard about the love dare. Its a 40 day bible based program that is designed to help marriages. It sounds good, and to be honest my marriage could use practical help, but I wonder if its okay for catholics, spiritually speaking. Has anyone ever read or followed the book?
 
From what I remember from the movie I can’t remember anything about the love dare that was a major red flag. That being said, the theology in the movie is evangelical so everything is not going to match up with Catholic teaching. For example, gambling is referred to as a parasite whereas Catholic teaching permits gambling provided it does not interfere with our other obligations.
