The Church today that I would call the Norvus Ordo version is not the true church, but a corrupted version that resembles Protestantism more then Catholism.

If we don’t have a “true church”, do we also not have a true Pope and Magisterium?

If one believes the Church is not the true Church, or that there is more than one Church, there is a foundational premise that pretty much makes discussion of the topic at hand fruitless.
