The Master Beadsman update

Hi All,

With Catholic Answers Forums shutting down, I wanted to let everyone know about a change I made to “The Master Beadsman” recently.

I’ve recently renamed the blog “That Eastern Catholic Guy.”

I’ll now be offering my prayer ropes through the updated blog.

More importantly, I’ve committed myself to actually maintaining the blog and regularly posting on it throughout 2021. The primary focus for the new year will be a series of weekly reflections on stuff I’m (re)reading in the Desert Fathers and how it can apply to our lives as 21st Century Christians living in the Western (secularized) world.

I’m not on Facebook anymore. I removed myself from there back during the Trump/Clinton elections four years ago. I couldn’t handle watching people I know and care about say things to me and to each other online that they never would’ve said face-to-face.

I had to join FB in order to watch livestream Liturgies. That and CAF were my lifelines during lockdown (and obviously prayer).
