The Methodist Thread

Seeing as we have threads out there about other christian denominations I figured I’d ask about the Christian tradition called Methodist. I’m not looking for what makes it bad but what makes it different or similar. I’d like to know what its tenets are and why. sound good? In short I’d like a different approach than Zun.

I agree! I was very interested in following that post and was disappointed when it was not productive.

The Methodist Church in my area is probably one of the fastest growing Churches. How often do you see an established Church add an additional Church Service? I believe that the Church now has 5 Sunday Services. From what I gather, they are not just becoming a new Church home for those that have attended other Community Churches but are welcoming and sharing the Gospel with many of the “unchurched”.
