I have heard of the Missa Luba, an inculturated African arrangement of the mass. But have you heard of the Misa Pastoril? This is one of my favorite settings usually done during the Simbang Gabi (Rorate Masses) in the nine days before Christmas.

I’ve heard of the Simbang Gabi tradition before. I had never heard this Mass setting before. I wonder what sort of instruments they’re using?
