I am on one medicine, and may be getting another. Do you think that needing or taking medicine is a moral failing>? Would it depend on which medicine it is?
 
Does the Pope take medicine when he gets sick?

Is this even a serious question?
 
Using ordinary means to alleviate distress or to bring the body back to proper functioning is perfectly moral. The illness itself is a cross which you can offer up.
