If we found a giant hole in Indian that had no walls and no discernible bottom, it was just a void, How would scientists and philosophers explain this phenomena?

It is a void, a hole in the sense that you could put you arm into it. It has dimensions, just no walls and no bottom…if it has no walls, then it’s not a hole.
If the hole has no bottom, that must mean it goes all the way through the center of the Earth and comes out the other side. Where, exactly, would that be? Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, perhaps? In that case, won’t the seawater fall into the hole and fill it up?and no discernible bottom,
